  2. Hi Patrick

    I enjoyed reading the post.

You have painted a rich tapestry of our cultural heritage from the ancient times up to the present day. Thanks for referencing the music as I have no knowledge that these popular songs are related to the Moon Festival.

The Chinese lanterns always have a special place in my heart. I was transported back to my childhood with fond memories of choosing my lantern at the festival and being allowed to stay up at night to “parade” the lantern with my young friends…. a wonderful time of my life. The passage of time have separated our lives into different continents but the moon still shines bright for all of us.

    Thank you so much.
