2014 Chinese Calligraphy and Landscape Painting Exhibition was held from September 26 to October 7 at Chinese Cultural Centre, Chatswood, Sydney, Australia. 25 pieces of Calligraphy including oracle script, bronze script, seal script, clerical script, regular script, running script and cursive script were exhibited to show the development of the Chinese characters throughout the past four thousand years.
28 pieces of landscape paintings including two long scrolls and album leaves were also exhibited. The paintings show traditional brushstrokes and styles. Some sketches of Australian and Canadian landscapes were also displayed.
I wish to express my gratitude for the generosity of the Chinese Cultural Centre for its support and in hosting this Exhibition, and the support of the Willoughby Council for making this Exhibition as part of the Willoughby Spring Festival. I also wish to acknowledge the guidance of learned teachers and fellow artists as well as the support of friends, family and everyone who has assisted. This Exhibition would not have been possible without all the assistance given to me.
